Exeter Road Retrofit Project has won Large Scale Project of the Year 2016   

In line with Enfield Council’s commitment to Decent Homes, this project includes fabric repairs to 6 tower blocks, together with ECO funded works for External Wall Insulation (EWI) The project also included a separate District Heating contract for replacement heating to all the flats, utilising decentralised Ground Source Heat Pumps. The scheme was funded through ECO and RHI payments.  

The project was the winner of the 2016 Greater London Regional Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards - Large Scale Project of the Year, shortlisted in the National Awards. The aim of the Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards is to provide public recognition for the excellent work in Energy Efficiency and to help encourage best practice within the Energy Industry as it works to improve UK housing stock.

The project also received a commendation in the 2016 Housing Excellence Awards in the 'sustainable housing scheme of the year' category.
