Capital were commissioned by L&Q to design and manage their first retrofit sprinkler installation project to a sheltered housing block / resident care home (31 units) in Walthamstow and a high-rise tower block (42 units) in Leyton, East London.

The forerunner scheme by Capital was the first Installation of Ground Source Heating to High Rise Blocks in England. England’s largest application of individual ground source heat pumps on shared boreholes.
This scheme was to extend the schools existing main entrance reception area and to improve the access into the school. The new entrance creates a larger reception area that is more inviting than the existing small entrance lobby that it replaces.

On the 10th – 11th September 2016, Edward Hoccom and Joseph Shamimi raised money for Charity by taking part in Rat Race Scotland, Coast to Coast. This is Rat Race’s original adventure race. This epic challenge saw them run, bike and kayak over 105 miles through one of the most famous mountain landscapes in the world, the Scottish Highlands. The charity they raised money for was Bridge Of New Hope Children’s Ministry (B.O.H.C.M). The charity supports orphans and abandoned children in Rukungiri, West Uganda.
