Capital's design for sustainable homes in a Conservation Area in Enfield required close liaison with the Planners, the Conservation Officer and a Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor.
As the site was in a conservation area and originally had a chapel linked to the cemetery, the planners advised that permission was only going to be granted to properties with period features.
Planning Approval was achieved in 2014 following agreement on the Section 106 costs.

In keeping with the heritage of the site, the new houses were designed in a style sympathetic to their surroundings
