PAS 9980 update from our Building Investigation Team
We are aware that the recent publishing of the PAS 9980 methodology for fire risk appraisal of external walls (FRAEW) is likely to generate further inquiries from Landlords as the scope for the requirement includes all multi-storey, multi-occupational residential buildings.

Capital staff now enrolled on RICS Fire Safety Training Programme
The Training course developed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is funded by the government, to help surveyors ‘progress their knowledge’ in fire safety and help solve the external wall fire review (EWS1) process issue.

Capital were appointed by The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) to provide design services from RIBA Stage 2 for the re-cladding and associated works at Adair and Hazelwood Towers.
