Winner in the 2023 Civic Trust Awards
Capital’s project for the London Borough of Camden was entered into the 2023 Civic Trust Awards and has been selected as one of only 50 successful National/International projects from over 250 applications and will receive either an Award or be Highly Commended at the 2023 Civic Trust Awards Ceremony.
Capital was commissioned by the London Borough of Camden to act as Employers Agent for re-building of Edith Neville Primary School and a new residential block and children’s centre.
The level of the project’s success will be revealed at the 64th Annual Civic Trust Awards Ceremony, which will be held on Friday 31st March 2023 from 7pm
Channel Islands and Kettering Road Estate Retrofit Project has won District Heating Project of the Year 2019
Following the multi Award winning success of the previous scheme, Exeter Road, Capital were commissioned to take on an even larger retrofit project to 8 Tower Blocks with ECO funded external wall insulation and associated works to two Towers, a district heating project using ground source heat pump technology to four Towers and an Air Source district heating scheme to four Towers.
The scheme involved the retrofit of ground source heat pumps into 400 flats in eight tower blocks in the London Borough of Enfield. The project is funded through Energy Company Obligations (ECO) Scheme and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The Capital outlay will be recovered over a 20 year period so the project will be self-funding.
Capital Project wins Innovation Roof of the Year 2019
Capital’s project at Turkey Street as part of the Enfield North External Enveloping for Enfield Council Homes has recently won the NFRC “Innovation Roof of the year” at the the UK Roofing Awards 2019.
The awards celebrate the very best in the industry in all the roofing disciplines, recognising outstanding workmanship, problem solving, environmental qualities and contribution to the built environment.
The award “Innovation Roof of the year” was awarded in regards to the Flat to Pitched project in Turkey Street.
